VOLTAGE RANGES from 63 to 150 kV up to 225 to 420 kV depending on the model

The VTA is a high-voltage electronic voltage detector with a state-of-the-art microcontroller and direct-contact detection, designed to provide maximum safety and reliability for indoor and outdoor high-voltage work.
Its advanced optical acquisition system ensures fast and stable detection, even in environments with intense electric fields.
It features complete circuit self-checking via a test button, allowing correct operation of the device to be verified before use.
The detector automatically activates when voltage is detected and automatically switches off after a few minutes of inactivity to reduce power consumption.
During detection, voltage presence is indicated by a high-intensity red LED and a powerful intermittent acoustic signal.
Voltage absence is indicated by a green LED visible from a long distance.
The VTA features very low power consumption (< 1 µA) and operates with a 9 V alkaline battery, type 6LR61 (included).
Its operating temperature range is from -25 °C to +55 °C, making it suitable for demanding environmental conditions.
It is used with an insulating pole fitted with a Sofamel Universal head, adapted to the voltage range of the corresponding model.
Supplied in a metal carrying case.
