Basic operation

When the operator approaches an electric field between 1kV–10kV and exceeds a distance of approximately 40 cm for 1 kV and 2 meters for 10kV, the detector emits a sound to warn the operator that he is in a dangerous area. The alarm will not stop until the operator moves away from the voltage source. The device is always alert.
