PERSONAL PROTECTION
Just like motorcycle helmets, those used for electrical work have a limited lifespan. Although their duration varies depending on the material and usage conditions, it is recommended to replace them every 5 years from the start of service.

Why is it important to check your helmet?
Because its effectiveness can be affected by several factors:
Physical factors
Previous impacts and blows
Cracks, deformations, or discoloration
Use of improper adhesives or paints
Environmental factors
Prolonged exposure to sunlight (UV rays)
Extreme temperatures
Contact with chemicals or humidity
Aging factors
Material degradation over time
Wear and tear of the internal harness
Misuse factors
Incorrect fit
Unauthorized modifications
Cleaning with aggressive products

Record the helmet’s service start date and conduct periodic inspections.
If it has exceeded its lifespan or shows signs of deterioration,
it’s time to replace it!
