The BGT trigger-operated pole is manufactured from a fibreglass tube filled with polyurethane foam, providing superior insulation against electrical voltages and optimal weight for handling. The trigger system, commonly known as a “shotgun” mechanism, enables safe hooking, releasing, and manipulation of fittings or components on live lines.
Applications:
- Work on energised overhead lines (live line) and maintenance of medium- and high-voltage networks.
- Earthing operations, releasing fittings, and quick attachment of earthing clamps in substations and line installations.
- Manoeuvres on railway overhead lines, industrial environments, and electrical infrastructure maintenance.
- Tasks requiring the operator to maintain a safe electrical distance and perform precise movements of fittings.
Main features:
- Reinforced fibreglass tube with a polyurethane foam core, ensuring excellent insulation and rigidity
- “Trigger/shotgun” mechanism with a sliding handle that opens or closes the hook at the end, enabling safe manipulation of energised metallic components.
