Multipurpose earthing and short-circuiting equipment for substations
Equipment with MPLE screw clamps, suitable for horizontal or vertical busbars as well as cylindrical conductors.
The set allows a conductor-to-earth section smaller than that of the phase-to-phase cables, as the short-circuit current between phases is higher than the earthing current.
This design optimises the equipment’s weight without compromising electrical safety, making it easier to handle in confined spaces.
According to IEC 61230 standard.
Composed of:
- 3 MPLE aluminium-alloy clamps with screw tightening and bayonet shaft (MPL/E) or Hex-12 shaft (MPL/E). For cylindrical conductors with diameters between 4 and 45 mm; flat bars up to 45 mm; fixed points from 20 to 25 mm.
- 3 copper PVC-insulated cables, 50/70/95/120 mm²
- cross-section, 1.5 m long.
- 1 copper PVC-insulated cable, 35/50/95 mm²
- cross-section, 2.5 m long.
- 1 protected trifurcating connector with rubber housing.
- 1 TT-38L earthing lathe.
- 1 1.5 m telescopic pole, three sections.
- 1 plastic case for storing and transporting the equipment (optional with wheels).
